File Storage Location
There are three predefined and one user-defined location
where recording files are stored. A drop-down box is provided to select
among these locations. The Windows directory path is shown below the file
storage location chosen.
The predefined locations are on the device's Secure
Digital (SD) card, Compact Flash (CF) card, and PocketEAR Program File
Location. If a SD or CF card is available, the software will create a
folder on the card labeled "PocketEAR" and store the files in that
location. If a SD or CF card are not available, the software will create a
directory at the top-level of the PocketPC's file structure labeled SD
Card or CF Card depending on the location you choose.
|

|
| A "User Defined" file storage location can
also be chosen. If this option is chosen, a text input box appears so that
the user can input the directory path for the files to be stored within.
The path is entered using the Soft Input Panel and must conform to
standard Windows directory naming conventions. In the event that an
invalid path is entered, the software will attempt to correct the path
name and enter it in the text box. A warning will be displayed if this
occurrs. |

|
Input Errors
The recording length, interval, number of cycles, subject
ID, and Pass Code must all be of the correct type when entered, The
correct types are integer, decimal, integer, alpha-numeric, and integer,
respectively. If an incorrect type is entered and the Settings button
pushed, the software will display a warning like the one on the right and
replace the invalid entry with a default value.
